EXPERIENCE:
My Father Al- Hajj Muhammad Jamil Sofi presented Private Hajj Group idea in 1952 and first convoy of Hujjaj left for Saudi Arab through Land route. I was a little child at that time but since time, Hajj groups are being formulated in my house. In 1970, I perform Hajj with my father and since then attached with this business. There was no body of Ministry of Religious Affairs till 1971.
I proudly inform that by grace of Al-Mighty Allah with the efforts of my father, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has been established and first recognized convoy left to Saudi Arab to perform Hajj through land route in 1973. My father was a member of that survey committee, established by the Government of Pakistan to survey the land routes and difficulties to be faced.
Started professional career in Ministry Communication in the year 1972, after completion of studies, worked in different capacities.
In 1974, I left Pakistan for services in Saudi Arab and work there on different Posts from 1974 to 1976.
After the death of my father in 1979, I took over charge of Carvan jamil and operating the same to date.
Performed hajj for the first time in 1974 and since then has been performing hajj every year without break. Formulated first hajj group in the year 1952 and has been formulating hajj group every year. Photocopies of the proof for having performed Hajj so many times, is provided in the experience portfolio of this presentation.
The firm was awarded a quota of 585 in the year 2004 for hajj 2005. As per instructions of the Ministry the firm was converted into a Private limited Company in the year 2005, and paid up Capital of the Company increased with the capital Rs.3.5(M) and thereafter in the year of 2006. paid up Capital has been increased to Rs. 5.00(M) as per requirements of the Ministry. Now, we have Authorised Capital of Rs. 10 Million from 2012 as per Ministry requirement.
There has been no complaint whatsoever against us in the previous years and our performance has always been per excellence. The documents attached in the capability / experience section of this presentation prove that the Chief Executive has vast experience in Organizing Hajj Groups. Every time complete quota allocated, was utilized. The number of substitutions has always been much less than the permitted ratio. We have been requesting for increase in the quota but our requests were never acceded to, it is reiterated that if given chance with increase in quota, we shall live up to expectations.

After completion of education started professional career in Carvan Jamil Travels & Tours (Pvt) Ltd. As Director in the year 2005. Ever since I have been working with the company and managing the affairs related to pilgrims of hajj and umrah in different fields of operation both in Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arab and after that I have performed hajj there and then moved to Pakistan to get higher qualifications. After completing my studies, I have decided to help my father to manage Hajj pilgrims and be a part of it. Performed hajj then for the first time in 2005 through Carvan jamil and since then has been performing Hajj every year without break under the canopy of Carvan Jamil Travels & Tours (Pvt) Ltd.
